Update: How to configure PXE on SCCM07SP2 and W2k8R2

http://blog.colemberg.ch/?p=8

i set the IP-helper on Routers an config the DHCP-options 066 with IP-Adress of SCCM-Server and 067 with the path to the wdsnbp.com file (smsboot\x86\wdsnbp.com)

Here also a good ost for IP-Helper and V-Lans working with PXE-Boot: http://blogs.technet.com/b/adnanezzi/archive/2009/06/22/configmgr-2007-osd-how-to-allow-dhcp-broadcasts-across-vlan-s.aspx

In this you have to set the Path on DHCP, or you can set the ip-Helper on every Router and Switch, with ip-Helper the PXE boot Client should find by routing the PXE-Server. Than you haven’t the problem with the x86 or x64 HW-Architecture on the client. But if you give the File wdsnbp.com to the DHCP options, i will be check fist our architecture and jumps to the *.efi File. The *.efi File is created for the 64-Bit Architecture.

You have an Infobox for your DHCP and DNS in your environment, so you can also set you’re Options, in the Hierarchy for Clients separately, but for SCCM you have a Problem 😉 (no more yet)change the Slash’s:
For Windows DHCP; smsboot\x86\wdsnbp.com
For Infoblox; \\smsboot\\x86\\wdsnbp.com

now it should be Work, don’t forget to a service-restart your Infobox
