Intune Part 4; Without Intune, Manage Devices with Office 365

Here is Post about Manage Mobile Devices with Office 365, there are new Settings (coming soon) to use without Intune.

What are the Key points;
– Help secure and manage corporate resources
– Apply mobile device settings
– Perform a selective wipe of Office 365 data
– Preserve Office 365 productivity experience
– Manage policies with ease

What’s Supported: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and One Drive, maybe more
Supported Platforms: iOS 7 and Android 4.x

How Does it work:
The new Compliance Admin Center is coming in the Q1 2015 here are some screenshots and information’s about from some official MS Sites

Create a new Policy

After create, a new window it open and you can set some more settings, it looks like the same the EAS  (Exchange Active Sync) settings, but there are a lot more options to manage, it like a mix between EAS and Intune:

You can set Pins and stuff

Deploy this to a security-group
that you manage with AAD (Azure
Active Directory)
That make since for some different Departments, in the EAS the settings you configure it for all or nobody.

It’s a great new feature coming, I cant wait to use it, but with the Intune MDM you have much more possibilities, so you can Manage Corp. Applications and copy past functions and stuff.
This MDM for Enterprise is coming in the next Post.
