If you woundering what does this Folder in Youre Site Server, it is easy to say its the Folder within all the config an log files fore youre Sec-Site System. Also for routing all youre Client Stuff as a Management Proxy.
So it helps to controll the communication between youre Primary-Site and Client’s.
It is Possible that you have Problems to install this Role. This means if you install first (manually) youre client agent and after this the role.
remove the client ccmsetup.com /uninstall maybe it works only with ccmclean.exe (unsupported)
remove the MP
make sure system32\ccm no more here
reinstall the MP
reinstall the client.
Now the stuff should be under SMS_CCM instead of system32\ccm
