New Tool coming soon CM12 OSD Webportal

First Look for this nice tool calling, OSD Webportal

Some Friends has createt this Web Service and Webportal to manage Clients or Servers to create Objects in Cm12 and put them to the right collection. This is to use OS-Deployment collections that are empty after build the Client/Server OS.
In addition there are Location that also Collections behinde, to use for Standard Software installations during the Task Sequence, or simple for Region settings, like Keyboard Layouts.

First to say is, the tool are in alpha version and there some testcases ready befor we release the tool.
(It should be ready for Server 2008 R2, Server 2012 and Server 2012R2)

Whats behinde this tool:

• The tool is splited in two pieces, there is first, a webservice for running the actions, second is the Webportal to have a website, this web site is to set the security, it is a simple tool 😉
• The Webportal allows you to manage Client/Server objects in CM12, but simple 😀
• The tool should allow you a Website connection for Support or Helpdesk Emplyees withaout using the Cm12 Console, it is simplier to creat Clients (as like import a single Client in the console) and set them some Attributes
• The description for the functions in the tool comming soon, in a later Documentation Blog post series
